CAINTA STRENGTHENS DIGITAL PRESENCE WITH
ONLINE PAYMENT SYSTEM
October 3, 2022
Business transactions are continuing to move away from cash-based transactions toward electronic-based transactions as a result of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Era and digital innovation.
The E-Pay offers a more practical and convenient way for taxpayers and business owners to pay their taxes and assessments, a direction that Mayor Elen Nieto has taken upon her assumption from office.
“In a way, this was borne out of the pandemic, where digital transactions became the norm. While some may have some resistance to this new way of payment, there is that benefit of convenience as taxpayers need not line up and they can get their assessments and can opt to pay in the convenience of their homes or offices”, explained Mayor Nieto.

Through the electronic payment system Cainta’s E-Payment, taxpayers can now quickly and simply pay their real property taxes. The E-Payment platform will let customers pay via Landbank Payment Portal.
The system will eventually be integrated with all online services that demand payment at the Municipality Treasury. Furthermore, online payment options shall be introduced soon.
It shouldn't be taxing to pay taxes. This is why the local government is committed to offering affordable and useful solutions like this to help our citizens and company owners.

A working email account is required to access and use the E-Payment portal. The taxpayer should also have the 2022 Official Receipt on hand and have no arrears on their property taxes.
