CAINTA ATHLETES HAUL 53 OUT OF 103 GOLD MEDALS IN THE REGIONAL ATHLETIC MEET (RAAM 2025)

The Province of Rizal maintained its Number 1 position in terms of medal count in the recently concluded Regional Athletic Association Meet last February 28 to March 8, 2025. The Province of Rizal was the host province, and the Municipality of Cainta also stood as a billeting and sports venue.

Cainta hosted and billeted athletes and delegates from Laguna Province at the Cainta Elementary School, from Tanauan City at the FP Felix Memorial National High School, from Rizal Province at the Cainta Senior High School, from Bacoor City at the St. Anthony Elementary School, and the Screening Committee at the Marick Elementary School. 

Sports and playing venues within Cainta included One Arena for Arnis, One Cainta Oval for Bocce, Teacher’s Village Volleyball Court, Village East Tennis Court, Cainta Badminton Court Bazaar, Sta. Lucia Events Center for dancesport, Brookside Sports Complex for Futsal, and the CES Auditorium for weightlifting. 

The Province of Rizal once again stood on top in the CALABARZON Region, with their total medal hall of 103 golds, 64 silvers, and 54 bronze medals. A far second was Batangas Province with 30 golds.

Here are all the athletes hailing from Cainta who hauled gold, silver, and bronze medals for the Province of Rizal. The gold medalists, most of whom are products of the Municipality of Cainta’s grassroots training programs, are setting their sights on another gold medal haul at the upcoming Palarong Pambansa to be held in the Ilocos region.
